
The Ogun Youth Advocate for Social Development (OGYASD) has shared in the pains of the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun over the death of his father, Pa. Emmanuel Abiodun.
Pa. Emmanuel Abiodun died at the age of 89.
In a condolence letter written by the group’s President, Comrade Oluseyi Alamu on Tuesday, said death came calling at a period when Pa Emmanuel’s wisdom was still needed.
“The entire member of Ogun Youth Advocate for Social Development sympathetically sending our heartfelt condolence to our amiable Governor, H. E Prince Dapo Abiodun mfr. for the Glorious exit of His father, Pa Emmanuel Adesanya Abiodun who slept in the Lord on the 2nd of August, 2021. May his soul continue to rest at the bosom heart of the Lord. Amen.
“OGSYD hereby commiserate with our dear Governor Dapo Abiodun on the passing of his father Pa Emmanuel Abiodun. He was a man who gave himself to the service of Ogun state.
“We cannot question God, God gives life and takes it. Pa Abiodun has only gone to rest. After a job well done, one must rest so it’s good to say that Pa Abiodun needed to rest at the bosom of God after serving humanity.
OGYASD also stressed that the memory of the good works of the deceased would continue longer in the minds of people who had relationship with him.
“Baba died at a period , we still need his wisdom, and this can be painful and a huge loss, but we are convinced that he would meet the Lord, as number of his good works while alive attest to this.
Oluseyi told Abiodun “As we share in your grief over the loss of your dear father, we pray to God to give you and the entire family of Abiodun fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“The deceased was a teacher of teachers, who positively imparted knowledge on all those who came in contact with him during his life time, while he was a known disciplinarian who gave his children the right values.Your Excellency, we once again commiserate with you and pray for Baba’s soul to rest in perfect peace”, he added
