Ogun LG Polls: IPAC Slams Aggrieved Parties, Challenges Them To Approach Court Over Outcome

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ogun state chapter on Monday said that any political party or individuals who is not satisfied with the outcome of the last local government elections in the state should approach the law court rather than causing mayhem in the state.


The chairman of the Council, Comrade Abayomi Arabambi in a Press conference held at the aftermath of the swearin- in ceremony of the new Chairmen in Abeokuta also passed a vote of confidence on Babatunde Osibodu led Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC).


Arabambi underscored the elections as one of the best in the history of the state.
The Chairman said this dissociate the Council from those kicking against the process.


According to him ” The inter party advisory council is a coalition of political parties in Ogun state and having been part of the process leading to the organization of the local government election adjudged as one of the best so far organized in the history of the state, the council has decided to further validate the exercise with the press conference.

The Chairman equally discribed the Dapo Abiola administration as an administration that is committed to the overall well being of the people and the development of the state.


His words “Those who are not satisfied with the outcome of the election should approach the law court rather than causing disaffection in the state that is already enjoying the benefits of good governance.


“The Abiodun led APC which has done well by organizing a free and fair election that will bring about good governance at the grassroots deserves nothing else but commendation.

Arabambi commended the giant strides of the administration, and maintained that the hallmark of a good opposition is to recognize good performance.

He pledged that the council would continue to fight for the interest of the state.
