
The Ogun Youth Advocate for Social Development (OGYASD) has appealed to Nigerians to pray for the peace and tranquility of Nigeria during the festive period.
The Group made the appeal in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital on Tuesday.
The President of the group, Comrade Alamu Oluseyi in his Eid-el-Kabir message stressed that it was imperative that Nigerians pray for peace to reigns in the country amidst the security challenge.
Alamu disclose that the current situation in the country could not addressed by only the federal government but the government and the people.
He called on the citizens to work in synergy with the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in combating the security challenge.
“Here’s is another opportunity to cry to God for help amidst this security challenge that is rocking the nation. We cannot leave everything in the hand of the federal government. We must join the Government in combating the security challenges.
Alamu added “We cannot continue the way we are. We must wake up to the understand that our help comes from God alone.
According to the President, those at the helm of affairs of the nation should not depend on their intellectual ability in tackling the current situation, advising that they should carry God along on decision making.
