The president Ogun Youth Advocate for Social Development (OGYASD), Comrade Alamu Oluseyi has urged youths in Ogun State to maximize the new voters registration exercise.
Alamu charged then to see it as a rare opportunity to actualise their long awaited dream of placing the youth in the key functional political offices in the forthcoming 2023 elections.
He stated this while briefing Journalists in his office at Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta the state capital.
Comrade Oluseyi also encouraged the youth to increase their level of participation in politics and political activities in Nigeria, insisting that must stop reconning with the aged who ought to have retired from politics to a level of consultant.
His words “The strength of the youth is their power and should be properly channeled, utilized and managed towards achieving a better life for Nigerian youth and the generation yet to come.
“I acknowledge the activity of the state government under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR. and the office of the First Lady, for carrying the youth along in their governance and sponsorship of so many youth oriented programs across the state.
“Encourage the state government on their further support to the youth organisations across board in order to strengthen them the more and foster the unification of the youth on mass mobilization”, he added.
