MAPOLY Students Boil Threaten To Ground Ogun Over Govt. Refusal To Meet Their Demand

Some concerned students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) have issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the management of the Institution and the Ogun State government to meet its demands.
The concerned students are demanding rehabilitation of the road leading to the Polytechnic to ease transportation, continuation of 60/40 formula of payment of tuition fee,  reduction of acceptance fee, quick release of examination results, no closure of payment portal and reduction of medical fees.

The ultimatum was contained in a press release signed by the Resolution Committee of the MAPOLY the Students.
According to the committee, the Ogun State government and the management of MAPOLY are not ready to meet its demands after communication of the demands to them in the past days.
It said, “As a committee, having exhausted the first 2Cs of ALUTA, we have decided to use the 3rd C which is Confrontation. We however call on all progressive MAPAITES and all major stakeholders to get ready to confront our oppressors.”

It stressed that the ultimatum will end on Tuesday, 6th July, 2021.
In its words, “If our demands are not meant before then, we might be forced to ground the state to state our demands physically.”
