As the local governments elections draws close in Ogun state, the Ogun Youth Advocate For Social Development (OGYASD) has called on Prince Dapo Abiodun to consider youths in the leadership of the state.

The group equally called on all political parties to consider youths as their party flag bearers in all the 20 Local governments in the coming elections.
The OGYASD President, Comrade Alamu Oluseyi made the call in a statements he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta, the state capital on Thursday.
Alamu argued that if youths are given the opportunity to lead, they would perform beyond expectation.
The President, while lauding the effort of Governor Abiodun for making youths part of his cabinet members, appealed to him to also ensure that the youths occupy Chairmanship and Councillorship positions.
The body said that the performances of the current caretaker committee chairmen of all the 20 local Governments has been encouraging, adding that Governor Abiodun should give the youths the opportunity to continue the work.
It therefore called on the political parties to ensure they consider the youths as primary election continues.
