Ogun Baptist Conference has commended one of the winners of 2020 edition of Maltina Teacher of the year award in the state, Adeeko Folukemi.
Adeeko, a teacher at Patterson Memorial Baptist Grammar School, Abeokuta, Ogun state capital, came third during the competition.
The conference President, Revd. Oyewale Oyeniyi, while presenting Adeeko during the workers’ retreat, at Idi-Aba, abeokuta, says she would be rewarded with automatic promotion.
Oyeniyi explains that he was not surprise by the feat recorded by Adeeko having emerged the overall winner in the state during the competitions.
He added that the school had recorded various academics achievements including record of 98 per-cent success rate during the last examinations.
The cleric promised that the school would continue to invest in its personnel and equipments to produce best students and teachers capable of competing at global stage.
Oyeniyi, however, asked parents and guardians to enrol their wards and children in the school, which according to him, had pride itself as producer of the worthy ambassadors for Ogun state and Nigeria at large.
