A Councilorship aspirant for Abeokuta North, Ward 11, Aremu Segun Ibigbami on Monday said he would ensure total transformation of the ward if elected.
Aremu who is also known as Adire Senator made this known to Journalists in Abeokuta, the state capital.
He said his agenda would align with the overall agenda of the current administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun which focuses on building the state together with the people.
Aremu also stated that if emrge, the welfare of the people of his ward would be his outmost priority, adding that there would be a mutual relationship between him and the people he would represent.
The Councilorship aspirant also said that he would create an enabling environment for the people of his ward to thrive.
He said “I am running this race not for selfish reason. The people I want to represent are of great importance to me. My aspiration is to meet their yearnings.
“I will make sure I give the people of Abeokuta North, Ward 11 good representation. All my activities will be in tandem with Governor Dapo Abiodun’s agenda for the state.
The Councilorship aspirant stressed that for any Councilor or Local government Chairman to succeed in the state, such a person must toe the line of Prince Dapo Abiodun.
He added that the Governor’s leadership style is second to none adding that “That is what I want to emulate”.
